Should my investment strategy change over time?

Generally speaking, yes. Over time investors usually become more conservative as they get closer to retirement. That said, not all investors can tolerate an aggressive portfolio just because they are young. Likewise, not everyone approaching retirement wants to be conservative. Taking a risk tolerance assessment can help you to determine what type of investor you are. Risk tolerance is not static; retake the risk assessment annually and make changes to your portfolio to align with your risk tolerance.
